OptiCept has today signed an agreement with CREA in Italy, which is a leading research center for the food and agricultural sector. The agreement applies to juiceCEPT + and is an 18-month commercial leasing agreement worth approximately € 82,000. The machine will be installed in Sicily in the summer of 2022.

CREA will process juices from local ingredients such as watermelon, figs, kiwi, pomegranate, mandarin, melon. The main goal is to reach new markets by producing juices that can not withstand heating as a method for extended shelf life. The results of the studies will be public.
