BANNOCKBURN, Ill. (AP) _ Option Care Health, Inc. (OPCH) on Wednesday reported second-quarter profit of $33.9 million.

On a per-share basis, the Bannockburn, Illinois-based company said it had net income of 19 cents.

The results fell short of Wall Street expectations. The average estimate of five analysts surveyed by Zacks Investment Research was for earnings of 22 cents per share.

The infusion and home care services company posted revenue of $980.8 million in the period, beating Street forecasts. Five analysts surveyed by Zacks expected $943.2 million.

Option Care expects full-year revenue in the range of $3.85 billion to $3.95 billion.
