Oracle announces a strategic partnership with Metron, a US specialist in advanced technologies for defense, to offer large-scale decision support solutions for multi-domain operations.

This alliance aims to strengthen the armed forces' ability to accelerate their OODA (observe, orient, decide, act) decision-making loop through rapid and secure data analysis.

The integration of Metron's technologies with Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI), deployed across US security networks, will enable military users to increase their resilience, responsiveness, and decision-making advantage in theaters of operation.

With 40 years of expertise, Metron has developed advanced mission planning and systems aggregation tools for the US Departments of Defense and Homeland Security.

According to Rand Waldron, Oracle's vice president, this collaboration will enable customers to "detect earlier, decide faster, and strike harder."
