Orange announces the appointment of Jérôme Hénique, currently Executive Director, CEO of Orange Africa and Middle East, as Executive Director, CEO of Orange France, from 1 June, replacing Jean-François Fallacher.
Jérôme Hénique will remain a member of the group's executive committee and report to Christel Heydemann, CEO of Orange. He will also join the Board of Directors of Orange Middle East & Africa (Orange MEA) on the same date.
He will be replaced in his current role by Yasser Shaker, currently CEO of Orange Egypt, from 1 July, in agreement with the Board of Directors of Orange MEA. Yasser Shaker will also join the telecoms operator's executive committee.
