Orange Polska informs that Julien Ducarroz has received positive opinion of the Remuneration Committee and support of the Company's Supervisory Board as candidate for the CEO position

On 6 July 2020 Orange Polska's Supervisory Board during a dedicated meeting granted its support to Julien Ducarroz as candidate for Company's Chief Executive Officer and President of the Management Board. Prior to that meeting Julien Ducarroz has received positive opinion of the Remuneration Committee of the Supervisory Board that makes recommendations to the Supervisory Board among others on elections and remuneration of the members of the Management Board. Julien Ducarroz should be appointed on the occasion of the planned Supervisory Board meeting scheduled for 21 July 2020.

Julien Ducarroz was introduced as a candidate for Orange Polska's Chief Executive Officer by Company's majority shareholder Orange SA. Following his appointment, Julien Ducarroz will replace Jean-François Fallacher who decided to accept Orange Group's offer to become the CEO of Orange Spain as of 1 September 2020 (cf company Current Report 9/2020 from 12 June 2020).

Maria Pasło-Wiśniewska, chairwoman of the Remuneration Committee and independent member of Orange Polska's Supervisory Board commented: 'Julien Ducarroz received unanimous positive opinion from Remuneration Committee. I strongly believe that his extensive experience in the telecom industry, with more than 10 years on executive positions, gained in different countries in many different areas, including strategy and commercial functions will be a great asset to lead Orange Polska during the next Strategic Plan period.'

Julien Ducarroz, Swiss national, born 1975, has been working in Orange Group since 2002 in different Group affiliates in different countries. Julien's most relevant experiences includes the position of Chief Executive Officer in Orange Moldova (since 2016 to present) and of Chief Commercial Officer and executive board member in Orange Romania (2008-2016).
