Orient Semiconductor Electronics, Limited announced earnings results for the second quarter ended June 30, 2021. For the second quarter, the company announced sales was TWD 4,148.371 million compared to TWD 3,499.929 million a year ago. Operating income was TWD 546.234 million compared to operating loss of TWD 313.243 million a year ago. Net income was TWD 423.998 million compared to net loss of TWD 274.446 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share was TWD 0.77 compared to basic loss per share of TWD 0.5 a year ago. Diluted earnings per share was TWD 0.57 compared to diluted loss per share of TWD 0.5 a year ago. For the half year, sales was TWD 7,937.267 million compared to TWD 7,142.462 million a year ago. Operating income was TWD 819.729 million compared to operating loss of TWD 319.736 million a year ago. Net income was TWD 644.352 million compared to net loss of TWD 266.029 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share was TWD 1.16 compared to basic loss per share of TWD 0.48 a year ago. Diluted earnings per share was TWD 0.87 compared to diluted loss per share of TWD 0.48 a year ago.
