Danish renewable-energy company Oersted AS on Thursday confirmed that it is in late-stage talks over the potential acquisition of Ostwind AG, an onshore wind power platform with offices in Germany and France.

Ostwind was founded in 1992 and develops, project-manages and constructs wind farms.

"There can be given no assurances as to whether a transaction will be concluded and the timing hereof," Oersted said in a statement.

The announcement doesn't change the company's financial outlook for 2022 or the expected investment level announced for 2022, it added.
