Danish energy company Ørsted reports a decrease in revenue for the full year 2024 compared to the same period last year. Operating profit was in line with preliminary figures. The board proposes no dividend.

Revenue fell 10.5% to DKK 71.0 billion (79.3).

Ebitda amounted to DKK 32.0 billion (18.7), with an ebitda margin of 45.1 percent (23.6).

Ebitda excluding new partnerships and cancellation fees amounted to DKK 24.8 billion (24.0), with an adjusted ebitda margin of 34.9 percent (30.3). The outcome is in line with the preliminary figures given last month, and within the company's guidance of DKK 23-26 billion.

Impairments amounted to DKK -15.6 billion (-26.8).

Operating profit was DKK 6.2 billion (-17.9), with an operating margin of 8.7 percent.

Profit before tax was DKK 2.6 billion (-19.0).

Net profit was a modest DKK 16 million, compared to DKK -20.2 billion the year before.

Ørsted will not pay dividends for 2023-2025, but aims to resume them in 2026.

Guidance for 2025 is an operating profit excluding new partnerships and termination fees of DKK 25-28 billion.
