Österreichische Post AG reported earnings results for the third quarter and nine months of 2017. For the quarter, the company's total group revenues were up 2.7%. Earnings per share were up from EUR 1.49 to EUR 1.57. Total EBITDA was EUR 198.7 million. Total EBIT was EUR 140 million. Cash flow from operating activities was EUR 166.5 million, up from last year. Capex was EUR 31 million, resulting in an operating free cash flow of EUR 135.2 million.

For the nine months, the company's total group revenues were up 2.1%. Revenue development was generated by and driven by the good growth, the very strong growth momentum in the Parcel & Logistics Division.

The company provided earnings guidance for the years 2017 and 2018. For the year 2017, the company expects a slight revenue increase. The company expects operating CapEx to be in the order of magnitude of around EUR 70 million to EUR 80 million.

For the year 2018, the company expects substantial growth CapEx on top of the historic level of maintenance CapEx of around EUR 60 million.
