ATLANTA (AP) _ Oxford Industries Inc. (OXM) on Wednesday reported fiscal third-quarter net income of $19.7 million.

On a per-share basis, the Atlanta-based company said it had profit of $1.22. Earnings, adjusted for non-recurring costs, were $1.46 per share.

The results beat Wall Street expectations. The average estimate of four analysts surveyed by Zacks Investment Research was for earnings of $1.20 per share.

The owner of the Tommy Bahama, Lilly Pulitzer and Southern Tide clothing lines posted revenue of $313 million in the period, which also topped Street forecasts. Four analysts surveyed by Zacks expected $303.4 million.

For the current quarter ending in January, Oxford Industries expects its per-share earnings to range from $2.01 to $2.16. Analysts surveyed by Zacks had forecast adjusted earnings per share of $1.13.

The company said it expects revenue in the range of $366 million to $381 million for the fiscal fourth quarter. Analysts surveyed by Zacks had expected revenue of $266.6 million.

Oxford Industries expects full-year earnings in the range of $10.60 to $10.75 per share, with revenue ranging from $1.4 billion to $1.41 billion.
