TONTITOWN, Ark. (AP) _ P.A.M. Transportation Services Inc. (PTSI) on Wednesday reported fourth-quarter net income of $14 million, after reporting a loss in the same period a year earlier.

The Tontitown, Arkansas-based company said it had net income of $2.43 per share. Earnings, adjusted for non-recurring gains, came to $1.98 per share.

The trucking company posted revenue of $142.8 million in the period.

For the year, the company reported profit of $17.8 million, or $3.09 per share. Revenue was reported as $486.8 million.

P.A.M. Transportation shares have climbed 21% since the beginning of the year. In the final minutes of trading on Wednesday, shares hit $59.26, a climb of roughly 5% in the last 12 months.
