P.A.M. Transportation Services, Inc. announced earnings results for the full year ended December 31, 2020. For the full year, the company announced total revenue was USD 486.825 million compared to USD 514.177 million a year ago. Operating income was USD 33.923 million compared to USD 12.547 million a year ago. Net income was USD 17.827 million compared to USD 7.900 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share from continuing operations was USD 3.1 compared to USD 1.35 a year ago. Diluted earnings per share from continuing operations was USD 3.09 compared to USD 1.34 a year ago.
P.A.M. Transportation Services, Inc. is a holding company. The Company, through its subsidiaries, is engaged in providing truckload dry van carrier services transporting general commodities throughout the continental United States, as well as in the Canadian provinces of Ontario and Quebec. The Companyâs subsidiaries also provide transportation services in Mexico through its gateways in Laredo and El Paso, Texas, under agreements with Mexican carriers. Its freight consists primarily of automotive parts, expedited goods, consumer goods, such as general retail store merchandise, and manufactured goods. Its truckload services are performed by Company divisions that generally utilize Company-owned trucks, long-term contractors, or single-trip contractors to transport loads of freight for customers, while its brokerage and logistics services coordinate or facilitate the transport of loads of freight for customers and generally involve the utilization of single-trip contractors.
