P-H-O-E-N-I-X Petroleum Philippines, Inc. reported earnings results for the third quarter and nine months ended September 30, 2022. For the third quarter, the company reported sales was PHP 86.63 million compared to PHP 72.03 million a year ago. Revenue was PHP 23,737.71 million compared to PHP 34,111.42 million a year ago. Net loss was PHP 948.61 million compared to PHP 82.41 million a year ago. Basic loss per share from continuing operations was PHP 0.97. Diluted loss per share from continuing operations was PHP 0.97.
For the nine months, sales was PHP 205.58 million compared to PHP 133.5 million a year ago. Revenue was PHP 99,923.03 million compared to PHP 102,636.73 million a year ago. Net loss was PHP 1,069.42 million compared to net income of PHP 168.8 million a year ago. Basic loss per share from continuing operations was PHP 1.05 compared to PHP 0.19 a year ago. Diluted loss per share from continuing operations was PHP 1.05 compared to PHP 0.19 a year ago.
P-H-O-E-N-I-X Petroleum Philippines, Inc. is primarily engaged in marketing and distribution of petroleum products to retail and commercial and industrial customers, as well as operating oil depots, storage facilities, and other allied services. The Company's segments include Trading, Depot and Logistics Services, and Real Estate. The Trading segment is engaged in marketing, merchandising, purchasing, selling, dealing, acquiring, disposing and distributing goods and wares, such as petroleum products (on a wholesale basis), adhesives, glues, bonding agents, epoxy resins and lubricants, among others. The Depot and Logistics Services segment is engaged in operating oil depots and storage facilities and providing logistics services. The Real Estate segment is involved in real estate development, management and operations. The Companyâs products include fuels, lubricants, liquified petroleum gas (LPG), asphalt and PNX lubricants.
