Padtec announces partnership with Zanecom to offer DWDM solutions in Africa

Campinas/SP, October 31st, 2022 - PADTEC HOLDING S.A. (B3: PDTC3) ("Company" or "Padtec"), in line with the strategy of expanding its presence in the international market, announces a partnership with Zanecom, an Angolan consultancy that acts as an integrator of information and communication technology solutions. Under the agreement, the DWDM (Dense Wavelength Division Multiplexing) solutions developed by Padtec become part of Zanecom's product line, contributing to the expansion of the Brazilian company's operations in Sub-Saharan Africa.

After strengthening its presence in Latin American countries and establishing a partnership to offer DWDM solutions in Europe, Padtec chose the African continent to continue with its global expansion. Africa has great growth potential for high-capacity communication networks and the process of digitization and the consumption of goods and services online has rapidly accelerated in African countries.

For Zanecom, Padtec's product line, which is innovative and composed of state-of-the- art optical transmission equipment, allows the company to add to its portfolio solutions designed to meet the exponential demand for high-capacity data transmission.

Headquartered in Campinas, in the interior of São Paulo state, Padtec has four commercial offices abroad, located in Argentina, Chile, Colombia and the United States. Through a partnership with the multinational Televes, it also offers its DWDM solutions in Europe, the Middle East and Africa (EMEA).
