Pakistan Refinery Limited (PRL) is a Pakistan-based company, which is engaged in the production and sale of petroleum products. It has a hydro skimming refinery designed to process various imported and local crude oil. The refinery has a capacity of processing approximately 50,000 barrels per day of crude oil into a variety of distilled petroleum products, such as motor gasoline, high speed diesel, furnace oil, jet fuels, kerosene oil, and naphtha. Its PRL plant consists of crude desalting unit, crude distillation unit, hydro de-sulfurization unit, platforming unit, isomerization unit, LPG recovery unit, steam generation unit, power generation unit, effluents water treatment unit, and water softening unit. Its facilities include crude unit, hydro unit, platformer unit, and isomerization unit, among others. The Company' refinery is operating at two locations, such as the main processing facility is located at Korangi Creek with supporting crude berthing, and storage facility at Kamari.
