VANCOUVER, British Columbia (AP) _ Pan American Silver Corp. (PAAS) on Tuesday reported third-quarter earnings of $20.2 million.

On a per-share basis, the Vancouver, British Columbia-based company said it had net income of 10 cents. Earnings, adjusted for non-recurring costs, came to 18 cents per share.

The results fell short of Wall Street expectations. The average estimate of 10 analysts surveyed by Zacks Investment Research was for earnings of 35 cents per share.

The silver mining company posted revenue of $460.3 million in the period, also falling short of Street forecasts. Nine analysts surveyed by Zacks expected $462.4 million.
