VANCOUVER, British Columbia (AP) _ Pan American Silver Corp. (PAAS) on Wednesday reported fourth-quarter profit of $14 million.

On a per-share basis, the Vancouver, British Columbia-based company said it had net income of 6 cents. Earnings, adjusted for non-recurring costs, were 19 cents per share.

The results missed Wall Street expectations. The average estimate of 10 analysts surveyed by Zacks Investment Research was for earnings of 26 cents per share.

The silver mining company posted revenue of $422.2 million in the period, which also fell short of Street forecasts. Ten analysts surveyed by Zacks expected $446.7 million.

For the year, the company reported profit of $97.4 million, or 46 cents per share. Revenue was reported as $1.63 billion.
