The results fell short of Wall Street expectations. The average estimate of eight analysts surveyed by Zacks Investment Research was for earnings of 8 cents per share.

The silver mining company posted revenue of $669.6 million in the period, beating Street forecasts. Seven analysts surveyed by Zacks expected $657.7 million.

For the year, the company reported a loss of $103.7 million, or 32 cents per share. Revenue was reported as $2.32 billion.
