27.12.2021 Sergei Kiriyenko awards Dmitry Pumpyanskiy third class Order for Merit to the Fatherland

Sergei Kiriyenko, First Deputy Chief of Staff of the Presidential Executive Office of the Russian Federation, has awarded Dmitry Pumpyanskiy, Chairman of TMK's Board of Directors and President of Sinara Group, a third class Order for Merit to the Fatherland. The award ceremony was held at the Kremlin on December 27, 2021.

The award was given to Dmitry Pumpyanskiy on October 25, 2021 "for his significant contribution to the development of national transport engineering and many years of hard work". The relevant Executive Order of Russian President Vladimir Putin on bestowing state awards of the Russian Federation was published on the official website for legal information.

Dmitry Pumpyanskiy initiated the creation of a high-tech facility in the Urals to manufacture next-generation products for the rail industry. The Ural Locomotives plant (Verkhnyaya Pyshma, Sverdlovsk Region) has become a crticial enterprise recognized as a growth hub containing a machine-building cluster and Europe's most advanced industrial site for the production of modern electric locomotives and Lastochka higher-speed electric trains. The plant is currently working on creating Russia's first high-speed trains, capable of speeds of up to 400 km/h.

Led by Dmitry Pumpyanskiy, Sinara Group has been actively involved in Russia's federal project for developing urban public transit. New tram modifications have already been designed for Moscow, Chelyabinsk and Taganrog. In 2021, a Sinara Group business unit entered into concession agreements for the comprehensive modernization of tram infrastructure in Taganrog and for the creation and operation of trolleybus infrastructure in Chelyabinsk - a first for Russia.

TMK develops and supplies innovative pipe and tubular products to support a range of industries, including transport engineering. The tubular solutions currently designed by TMK will also support the energy transition through hydrogen development, which is expected to transform the transportation industry. Together with Sinara Group, the Company also offers comprehensive services to energy enterprises, such as field development and the creation of related infrastructure.
