TMK and Sinara Group have become partners of the educational forums held in Sochi as part of the national I Am a Professional student olympiad. Set up by Ural Federal University and TMK2U Corporate University, the forums are taking place from 2-16 February, gathering over 200 students from Russia's top universities.

The forums will bring together students from more than 90 universities and 37 regions of Russia. There will be two shifts, one themed around materials science and construction (2-8 February) and the other around software and radio-frequency engineering (10-16 February). With the help of supervisors, the participants will team up to solve business scenarios proposed by forum partners. The events for students also include lectures, training in soft skills and career guidance, intellectual and sports competitions.

During the forum, top managers from TMK and Sinara Group will meet with students during an interactive session to answer their questions about choosing career paths. Business trainers from TMK2U Corporate University will hold masterclasses on subjects including storytelling, successful interviewing and creative thinking. In addition, for the first time the event will include a career marathon, where students will familiarize themselves with HR offers from TMK and Sinara Group during a quest.

It's a competition that, in a way, reflects the interests and aspirations of the most proactive and motivated young people. This venue brings together students who look to acquire strong core competencies and build a successful career. We challenge them with hands-on experience, engage them in an open dialogue and tell them about the advantages and needs of our companies. This exchange of opinions and collaboration enriches us by introducing fresh ideas and youthful energy while we, in turn, help the young participants navigate the current industrial and corporate landscape. It benefits both parties, and helps us build and develop competencies in talented students, who may later join our business."

TMK and Sinara Group have partnered with I Am a Professional, a large-scale national educational olympiad of a new format for students majoring in various fields - engineering, humanities and natural sciences, for five years running. The olympiad aims to help young talents continue their education at the country's leading universities or start a career with large companies. The olympiad is one of the projects of the Russia - Land of Opportunity platform created in 2018 at the initiative of Russian President Vladimir Putin. The project is set up by the I Am a Professional association of student competition organizers, the Russian Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs (RSPP), and more than 20 of Russia's top universities.
