Pearl Abyss Corp. Announces Earnings Results for the Fourth Quarter and Fiscal Year 2018

Pearl Abyss Corp. announced earnings results for the fourth quarter and fiscal year 2018. For the quarter, the company reported operating revenue posted KRW 99.1 billion, a 15.3% drop quarter on quarter. Operating profit and net profit each reported KRW 18.2 billion and KRW 30.6 billion, respectively, and went down 69.9% and 73.8% quarter on quarter, respectively.
For the year, the company reported operating revenue grew 244.9% year on year to post KRW 404.3 billion. Operating profit reported KRW 166.9 billion, a 157.8% growth year on year.
PearlAbyss Corp is a Korea-based company principally engaged in the development and publishing of online games. The Company operates its business through two segments. The Game Business segment develops and supplies games called Black Desert. The Other Business segment engage in the development and sales of game servers and network engines, investment and management consulting.
