Pearson : and Regis College Renew Multi-Year Contract to Deliver Online Graduate Nursing Degrees

Meets the demand for healthcare careers which are expected to grow by 16% between 2020 and 2030 and offers two new certificate options

Hoboken, NJ, 6 September 2022 - Pearson's Online Learning Services division (POLS) and Regis College have announced a multi-year renewal to deliver online graduate nursing degrees.

POLS is the division of Pearson that provides online learning products and services to higher education institutions worldwide. Regis College is a Catholic university in Greater Boston known for its nursing and health sciences programs at the undergraduate, graduate, and doctoral levels. Regis College has been nationally recognized as a Center of Excellence in Nursing Educationby the National League for Nursing.

According to the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics, healthcare occupations overall are "expected to grow 16 percent from 2020 to 2030; faster than the average for all occupations, adding about 2.6 million new jobs."

The renewed and expanded online programs include:

• A M in nursing (MSN) with the option to also receive an Emergency Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) certificate, or a Telehealth certificate, both new additions for the degree.
• A pair of D of Nurse Practice degrees (DNP). One offers a path from a Bachelor of Science in nursing to the DNP, and the other, a Master of Science in nursing to the DNP.
• Post-Master's Certificate programs, from which MSN-prepared RNs as well as MSN-prepared NPs can select from 6 NP Specializations.
