PepsiCo, Inc. reported earnings results for the second quarter and six months ended June 11, 2022. For the second quarter, the company reported sales was USD 20,225 million compared to USD 19,217 million a year ago. Net income was USD 1,429 million compared to USD 2,358 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share from continuing operations was USD 1.03 compared to USD 1.71 a year ago. Diluted earnings per share from continuing operations was USD 1.03 compared to USD 1.7 a year ago.
For the six months, sales was USD 36,425 million compared to USD 34,037 million a year ago. Net income was USD 5,690 million compared to USD 4,072 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share from continuing operations was USD 4.11 compared to USD 2.95 a year ago. Diluted earnings per share from continuing operations was USD 4.09 compared to USD 2.94 a year ago.
