PepsiCo Inc. is looking to use electricity only from renewable sources by 2030, the food-and-beverage giant said Monday.

The company said it would seek to use only renewable electricity for franchise and third-party operations by 2040.

PepsiCo said it would use power-purchase agreements supporting the development of new solar and wind farms as well as purchased-energy certificates. It also plans to install on-site wind and solar generators at some of its facilities.
