31.07.2014 Eight Aviadvigatel employees became graduates of the President Programme

On June 27, 2014 specialists of Aviadvigatel OJSC received diplomas of graduates of the President Programme for the preparation of the managerial staff. The graduation was held at the governmental administration of the Perm Krai with the participation of Minister of Industry, Business Activities and Commerce of the Perm Krai Alexei Chibisov.

Managers of Aviadvigatel departments did the course of the occupational retraining in the field of strategic and project management, staff management, marketing, finances on-job and brilliantly presented their projects in Russian and English. The training was conducted on the basis of the State educational establishment of the continuing professional education «The Institute for Continuing Education - RMCPK.
The President Programme for the preparation of the managerial staff having acted since 1997 allows the Russians 25 to 40 years old who have the higher education and the executive experience, to receive a quality education and undertake an internship abroad at the expense of the government balance and the employer's fund.
Aviadvigatel OJSC has taken part in the President Programme since 2003. In 2014 eight employees of the enterprise became its graduates - Pavel Utkin, Deputy Head of the DD-402 Gas Turbines and Gas Turbine Power Plants Operation Department of the Flight Tests and Operation Division; Natalia Korelova, Head of the Scientific and Technical Information Bureau of the Foreign Economic Relations Division; Alexander Shilov, Head of the High Pressure Compressors Team of the DD-2011 of the Compressors Division; Artiom Chirkov, Head of the Oil and Hydraulic Systems Team of the DD-213 Drives, Oil and Hydraulic Systems Department; Alexey Zhdanov, Head of the Exhaust Units and Aft-Bearing Supports of Gas Turbines for the Ground Application Team of the DD-2052 Exhaust Units and Aft-Bearing Supports Department of the Exhaust Units and Nacelles Division; Evgeny Kazakov, Head of the Manufacturing Engineering Group of the Control Software Simulation and Development Department of the Preproduction Engineering Automated Systems Division; Oleg Rezvukhin, Head of the Manufacturing Engineering Group of the Shop 20 Manufacturing Engineering Department of the Chief Process Engineer Division; Andrey Vdovin, Head of the Manufacturing Engineering Group of the Production Tooling Engineering Design Department of the Chief Process Engineer Division. In total, 43 employees of Aviadvigatel retrained under the President Programme.
Alexey Zhdanov, Head of the Exhaust Units and Aft-Bearing of Gas Turbines for the Ground Application Team of the DD-2052 Exhaust Units and Aft-Bearing Supports Department of the Aviadvigatel Exhaust Units and Nacelles Division, said, «My project aims to arranging the effective management of the team which is engaged in engineering and supporting the manufacture, the installation and the life cycle of exhaust units, aft-bearing supports of gas turbines for the ground application, heat-recovery boilers and hot water boilers of gas turbine power plants. I received a great deal of positive impressions from participating in the Programme. In the Programme highly skilled teachers work who not only know their subject but can bring their knowledge to listeners. The Programme taught me to effectively work in team, split the work properly, manage subordinates effectively and develop projects.
Evgeny Kazakov, Head of the Manufacturing Engineering Group of the Control Software Simulation and Development Department of the Aviadvigatel Preproduction Engineering Automated Systems Division, said, «Under the Programme I took part in the project of arranging a high-technological shop area at the Aviadvigatel pilot-production plant using robotic centers. At this shop area parts of molds and engine compressor vanes are mainly manufactured. Due to the participation in the Programme I gained the tooling necessary for the work, for example, I mastered such an approach to solving tasks as project management, systematized that knowledge which I had already had in my 'bundle', increase the level of my English language proficiency. The most interesting disciplines for me became strategic management, investment analysis and situational management. After the training and doing training courses you look at the task assignment process in other way and understand how to arrange the interaction with the team and the management in a better manner. I am going to take part in the second stage of the training under the President Programme and apply for the internship abroad in my line.
Tatyana Snitko, Aviadvigatel Human Resources Director, said, «In Aviadvigatel it is the practice to form the managerial core of the staff from the amount of the in-house employees, not invited specialists. For the training under the President Programme young workers of Aviadvigatel are usually sent who have already been actualized themselves as skilled workers and assigned at a position of a line manager. Thus we aim to develop their scope, increase the effectiveness of their thinking, familiarize with various tools of the managerial activity, enrich with new skills and approaches to the everyday work - such that in a few years they actualize themselves as good managers of the higher level, too.
