Petrobras Board of Directors, in a meeting held today (4/16), elected Joaquim Silva and Luna as the company's President.
The Board of Directors, within the scope of the composition of Petrobras' Executive Board, also approved the following appointments: 1- Election of Rodrigo Araujo Alves to the position of Chief Financial and Investor Relations Officer; 2- Election of Claudio Rogerio Linassi Mastella for the position of Executive Director of Marketing and Logistics; 3- Election of Fernando Assumpcao Borges for the position of Executive Director of Exploration and Production; 4- Election of Joao Henrique Rittershaussen for the position of Executive Director of Production Development; 5- Renewal of Nicolas Simone as Executive Director of Digital Transformation and Innovation; 6- Renewal of Roberto Furian Ardenghy as Executive Director of Institutional Relationship and Sustainability; 7- Renewal of Rodrigo Costa Lima e Silva as Executive Director of Refining and Natural Gas.
The executives 'nominations were subject to prior analysis by the People Committee that advises Petrobras' Board of Directors.

Joaquim Silva e Luna was Brazilian Director General of Itaipu Binacional from February 2019 until April 2021. He is a retired Army General and served in the Ministry of Defense from March 2014 to January 2019, as Secretary General of the Ministry and as Ministry of Defense. Claudio Rogerio Linassi Mastella is a chemical engineer graduated from the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul (UFRGS), with an Executive MBA from IBMEC and a postgraduate degree in Management from Fundacao Dom Cabral, in addition to having attended development programs abroad such as: Executive Development Program - Northwestern Kellogg and Managing Supply Chains for Global Competitiveness - Stanford GSB. He has 34 years of professional experience at Petrobras, working in the areas of Commercialization, Refining and Logistics. In his career at the company, he held several managerial roles in the areas of operational planning (S&OP), logistics operations, refining and marketing, having held the position of Executive Logistics Manager from Feb / 2015 to Feb / 2019 and Executive Manager of Sea Marketing / 2019 so far. In the Petrobras group companies, he served as a Board Member at Logum Logistica SA and at Petrobras Transporte SA - Transpetro. He was Alternate Director of Petrobras Argentina SA, from Mar / 2015 to Jul / 2016, and Member of the Strategy and Finance Committee of Transpetro, from Dec / 2018 to May / 2020. Fernando Assumpcao Borges is a civil engineer graduated from the Federal University of Uberlndia, with an Executive MBA from COPPEAD / UFRJ, in addition to having participated in the Advanced Management Program at INSEAD (France). He has 38 years of professional experience at Petrobras, having held the following managerial functions: Reservoir Manager in the Campos Basin and in the Sergipe-Alagoas Basin, General Manager of the UN-SUL Business Unit, General Manager of E&P Production, Manager of Projects of the Mexilhao Gas Field at UN-RIO, Director of E&P at Petrobras Bolivia, General Manager of Well Operations at Petrobras Internacional, General Manager of Offshore Rigs in the area of Marine Well Construction at Petrobras E&P and General Manager of Implementation Project Management in Libra.
