Petrobras Board of Directors, in a meeting held today (4/16), elected Joaquim Silva and Luna as the company's President.

The Board of Directors, within the scope of the composition of Petrobras' Executive Board, also approved the following appointments: 1- Election of Rodrigo Araujo Alves to the position of Chief Financial and Investor Relations Officer; 2- Election of Claudio Rogerio Linassi Mastella for the position of Executive Director of Marketing and Logistics; 3- Election of Fernando Assumpcao Borges for the position of Executive Director of Exploration and Production; 4- Election of Joao Henrique Rittershaussen for the position of Executive Director of Production Development; 5- Renewal of Nicolas Simone as Executive Director of Digital Transformation and Innovation; 6- Renewal of Roberto Furian Ardenghy as Executive Director of Institutional Relationship and Sustainability; 7- Renewal of Rodrigo Costa Lima e Silva as Executive Director of Refining and Natural Gas.

The executives 'nominations were subject to prior analysis by the People Committee that advises Petrobras' Board of Directors.

Joaquim Silva e Luna was Brazilian Director General of Itaipu Binacional from February 2019 until April 2021. Claudio Rogerio Linassi Mastella is a chemical engineer graduated from the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul (UFRGS), with an Executive MBA from IBMEC and a postgraduate degree in Management from Fundacao Dom Cabral, in addition to having attended development programs abroad such as: Executive Development Program - Northwestern Kellogg and Managing Supply Chains for Global Competitiveness - Stanford GSB. He has 34 years of professional experience at Petrobras, working in the areas of Commercialization, Refining and Logistics. In his career at the company, he held several managerial roles in the areas of operational planning (S&OP), logistics operations, refining and marketing, having held the position of Executive Logistics Manager from Feb / 2015 to Feb / 2019 and Executive Manager of Sea Marketing / 2019 so far.
