Rio de Janeiro, January 24, 2023 - Petróleo Brasileiro S.A. - Petrobras informs that the Eligibility Committee (CELEG) met on this date to analyze the nomination of Mr. Jean Paul Prates for the positions of Director and CEO of Petrobras based on the company's governance rules and applicable legislation.

The manifestation of CELEG will be reported to Petrobras' Board of Directors and will be available for consultation within 7 (seven) business days on Petrobras' Investor Relations website (www.petrobras.com.br/ir).
