BR Announces Succession of its CEO

Rio de Janeiro, January 25th, 2021.

Petrobras Distribuidora S.A. ("Company" or "BR") (B3: BRDT3) in compliance with the provisions of CVM Instruction 358, of January 3rd, 2002, as amended, communicates to its shareholders that the current Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of BR Distribuidora, Rafael Salvador Grisolia, will leave the Company on 1/31/2021. Grisolia joined BR Distribuidora in 2017 as Chief Financial and Investor Relations Officer to conduct its IPO and, and since 2019, he held the position of CEO.

Grisolia played a key role in the privatization process of the Company, a pioneering case of privatization via capital market. Under his management, BR has been reorganized, had significant gains in profitability, returned to gain market share and had important advances in all the commitments taken during the privatization. The Board of Directors thanks Grisolia for his valuable contribution to this important transformation process for the Company.

Wilson Ferreira Jr. was invited by the Company's Board of Directors to succeed Grisolia as CEO. The executive has almost 30 years of experience in the energy sector. Among the various leadership positions he held, he was CEO of CPFL between 2002 and 2016 and, since then, is CEO of Eletrobras.

As provided by law 12.813 / 2013, it is the responsibility of the Public Ethics Committee (CEP) of the Presidency of the Republic to analyze any need for quarantine compliance by the executive, before assuming the position at BR Distribuidora. The consultation has already been formulated and the company will await deliberation by the CEP.

In the period between February 1st and the beginning of Ferreira Jr's activities as CEO of BR, the Company will be led interim by the Executive Director of Operations and Logistics, Marcelo Bragança, who will be supported by a transition committee, composed of four Board members: Mateus Bandeira, Carolina Lacerda, Ricardo Maia and Alex Carneiro.

The Company will keep the market duly informed about the subject matter of this material fact.
