Summary: On January 18, 2021 at approximately 2330 hours, PG&E observed wires down near Geyser Resort Road, east of Geysers Road in Geyserville. The wire down was in the area of the Old Fire, which started at approximately 2130 hours and as reported by CAL FIRE was approximately 2 acres and has been fully contained. PG&E became aware that CAL FIRE was investigating the wires down in relation to the Old Fire when CAL FIRE investigators requested PG&E?s assistance in collecting portions of the downed wires into evidence. CAL FIRE collected the wires on January 20, 2021. PG&E is reporting this incident under the Media CPUC incident reporting criteria due to public attention into the Old Fire.

PG&E is not aware of any injuries, fatalities, or property damage exceeding $50,000 related to the Old Fire. This information is preliminary.
