AG Snus' owner, the Gundersen family, is in talks to sell AG Snus to Philip Morris International Inc. (NYSE:PM). Georg Gundersen, Chairman of the board of AG Snus, confirmed that a sales process is under way but said he cannot unveil more details at this stage. Philip Morris Denmark Chief Commercial Officer Christopher Arzrouni also confirms the sales plans. According to him, the aim of the possible transaction is for Philip Morris to increase its focus on smokeless tobacco products.
