Phoenix Group, the UK's largest long-term savings and retirement business, today announces the appointment of Tim Fassam as Public Affairs Director, effective 30 August 2022.

Tim joins from PIMFA, the trade association for financial advisors and wealth managers, where he was Director of Government Relations and Policy.He previously worked for TheCityUK as Managing Director, Public Affairs, Policy and Research and helped launch the Financial Services Skills Commission. He started his career at Barclays, before moving to Prudential for ten years, ending his tenure there as UK Public Affairs Director and Head of the Group Chairman's Office.
