Phoenix Tours International, Inc. announced earnings results for the first quarter ended March 31, 2020. For the first quarter, the company announced sales was TWD 365.963 million compared to TWD 526.944 million a year ago. Operating income was TWD 26.058 million compared to TWD 33.847 million a year ago. Net income was TWD 4.615 million compared to TWD 30.682 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share was TWD 0.08 compared to TWD 0.5 a year ago.

The Companyâs primary tourism products include Asia route, the Americas route, Oceania route, Europe route, cruise line, Northeast Asia route and Mainland China route. The Company mainly operates through four business segments. The Group Travel segment is principally engaged in the planning, design, promotion of travel routes and provision of tourism-related services. The Domestic Transportation segment is mainly engaged in the domestic tour bus rental business. The Air Passengers and Freight Forwarding segment is mainly engaged in the passenger transport agency and freight forwarding businesses. The Ticketing segment is mainly engaged in the booking of air tickets, hotels, related documents and the leasing of transportation equipment. The Company mainly operates its businesses in domestic market.
