PI Industries Limited announced earnings results for the fourth quarter ended March 31, 2021. For the fourth quarter, the company announced total revenue was INR 12,413 million compared to INR 8,620 million a year ago. Net income was INR 1,798 million compared to INR 1,107 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share from continuing operations was INR 11.96 compared to INR 8.03 a year ago. Diluted earnings per share from continuing operations was INR 11.95 compared to INR 8.03 a year ago. For the full year, total revenue was INR 47,019 million compared to INR 34,154 million a year ago. Net income was INR 7,383 million compared to INR 4,566 million a year ago. The Agro chemicals segment includes Agchem exports (CSM) and Domestic Agri Brands. The Pharma segment comprises contract research and development, contract development and manufacturing of active. It also includes materials and intermediates used in the pharmaceutical industry. The Company offers services, such as research and development services, CSM services, distribution services. The research and development services comprise target, discovery, molecule design, library synthesis, lead optimization, biological evaluation and route synthesis. It also provides Shield (fungicide) and Londax Power (rice herbicide) products. It offers services in areas, such as contract research, process development, analytical method development, process safety data generation and detailed process engineering.
