The Board of Directors of Pidilite Industries Limited meeting held on January 29, 2020, approved the resignation of Mr. Sabyaschi Patnaik as a Whole Time Director of the Company, (designated as Director-Operations) with effect from the close of business hours of February 29, 2020. Mr. Patnaik has indicated that he is planning to pursue his other interest. The board approved the appointment of Mr. Debabrata Gupta as an Additional Director and also as a Whole Time Director of the Company, (designated as Director-Operations) with effect from March 1, 2020, subject to approval of shareholders of the Company. Mr. Debabrata Gupta has a multi-industry experience of over 30 years with noted corporates like Hindustan Unilever Limited, Coca Cola India, Reckitt Benckiser (India) Private Limited, USV Private Limited and UPL Limited.
