Owners of SberBox smart media streamers can now access more online cinemas and apps with TV channels to watch their favorite shows, films, and series on a big screen. These include MEGOGO, IVI, Wink, more.tv, and KION. App icons can be found in the new section of the side menu on the home screen of a TV with a SberBox.

SberDevices work to unlock more content interaction opportunities for users buying Sber smart devices. SberBox used to offer 100,000+ feature films, series, animated pieces, and concerts via the VoD service Okko, while now it has added new services. The list of online cinemas and applications with TV channels will expand, as will the list of Sber devices where they will be available.

The SberBox set-top box is controlled using voice, a physical or virtual remote control in the Salute application, and gamepads. There is a voice search option available to Okko and SberSound users on SberBox - to put on a film or a song, simply press the microphone activation button and say the name of the piece, performer, actor, director, or genre in Russian or English. The new online cinemas are controlled via a remote.

Konstantin Kruglov, senior vice president for new digital surfaces at Sberbank and CEO of SberDevices:

"We hear and appreciate the feedback from our users, and we try to respond to their requests. One of the most popular ones was a wider list of online cinemas and applications with TV channels. We made the decision to go beyond the ecosystem services, giving more choice to owners of Sber smart devices. SberBox users can now watch content on different websites. Their list will be growing."

SberBox expands the functionality of a TV set. For example, you can watch movies and TV shows, online videos, listen to music, play games and handle your daily routine with the help of the Salute virtual assistants. They can book an appointment at a beauty salon or order takeout from Delivery Club - just say, "Salute, I want pizza!" and choose your favorite food while watching a movie. You can find more about SberBox on the official website.
