Podari Zhizn - a charity foundation helping children with cancer and severe blood diseases - is giving a charity concert "Don't Look Back" at the Sovremennik Theater on November 26, the foundation's 15th anniversary. The event will see performances by the leader of the Night Snipers rock band, Diana Arbenina, as well as Sinekdokha Montauk, Rushana, Sirotkin, Musya Totibadze, The Hatters, Sisters, RINAL, MANIZHA, Tesla Boy, Yuri Shevchuk and DDT. Choreographer Vladimir Varnava will direct the concert.

The live broadcast starts at 8:00 pm (GMT+3) on the Okko VoD platform and Rambler.ru, which are Sber ecosystem residents. Sber is the general partner of the concert. During the broadcast, each viewer will be able to donate any amount for the treatment of the foundation's charges.

It was in Sovremennik that Chulpan Khamatova and Dina Korzun held their first charity concert to raise money for a blood irradiator for the Russian Children's Clinical Hospital in 2005. On November 26, 2006, they established a foundation systemically helping with pediatric oncology issues. It has helped more than 73,000 children since. Its mission is to ensure that each child receives the most effective medical and non-medical support on time.

Vladislav Kreynin, senior vice president, director of the Marketing and Communications Department, Sberbank:

"Sber has helped Podari Zhizn for years. This is why we are happy to support the Don't Look Back charity concert, and our ecosystem companies Okko and Rambler will make sure it gets the extra public attention it needs. I am certain that Podari Zhizn will raise even more money to help its charges through this event."

"This year our foundation turns 15. We appreciate and love everything that has been done over the years thanks to the support of philanthropists, blood donors, and volunteers. But we do not remain complacent, we face new challenges. Our life and our energy are ahead: in the new, young, diverse and relevant. To celebrate the 15th anniversary of the foundation, we have invited the people who already live in this future, who create, dare, and change. We know that childhood cancer can be cured. We know that your support is with us. And that's enough to go ahead without looking back."

Podari Zhzn has the following goals:

  • to raise money for the treatment and rehabilitation of children with cancer and serious blood diseases
  • to help the oncology and hematology hospitals that treat children and young adults
  • to raise public awareness about problems faced by seriously ill children
  • to promote the voluntary blood donation movement
  • to provide social and psychological aid to ill children
  • to develop the work of volunteer groups at medical centers specializing in pediatric onco-hematology.
Currently, the fund is taking care of about 1000 children and young adults from seven clinics of federal and city subordination in Moscow and Russian regions, as well as children from more than 40 regional clinics.
