PJSC Sberbank : Sber creates Future Detector for young people in honor of Student Day

Sber wishes young people a happy Student Day. In honor of the holiday, Sber has created the Future Detector, a neural network-based project that will help young people determine path of professional development and start building their career. The project website also features special offers and gifts for university students from the Sber ecosystem, alongside a series of educational courses on skills of the future.

Choosing a profession is a lifelong process, and the process is no less relevant for university students than it is for schoolchildren. There is nothing wrong with still being in the process of choosing when you are already learning a profession.

On the "Future Detector" page, users will need to complete five simple games that correspond to SberSeasons internships: data analysis, development, design, cyber security, and business.

During the game, the neural network will scan the emotions of the user and determine when they smile, frown, and are surprised or disappointed. The neural network will then conclude which game the user enjoyed the most and which vacancy in the Sber ecosystem would interest them.

University students will then be able to apply for the recommended SberSeasons internship immediately or choose another field.

Educational programs and competitions for students

The best educational programs by Sber and its partners are available for free on the Future Detector landing page. These programs will be of particular use for university students and include:

• Sber and Google's "How to Make Money from Your Hobby" course for freelancers and the self-employed
• lectures on future trends at universities across the country - from Vladivostok to Kaliningrad - will be delivered by the bank's top managers. Meetings with students will be held in various formats at over 300 universities across the country for over 50,000 students, in full compliance with health and safety standards. Holding lectures in honor of Student Day is an excellent tradition with an audience that grows with each year. In Moscow, Sergey Maltsev, deputy chairman of the Sberbank Executive Board, will address the students in an online format. He will talk about financial management and how to protect your savings
• a series of lectures from the educational project "Careers of the Future," where experts from Sber and SberUniversity and HR specialists from Rabota.ru will explain how to successfully build your career today
• an online course on data science from the AI Academy, which will take students from learning from scratch to participating in ML competitions
• a free course from the SberStudent student accelerator, teaching young people to think like entrepreneurs: finding promising ideas and translating them into business results under the guidance of experienced mentors. Accelerator winners will receive grants to develop their startups

• applications open for the "Let's Teach It!" competition organized by SberEducation in conjunction with top Russian universities: Moscow City University, MIPT, NUST MISIS, HSE University, ITMO University, and Ural Federal University. Students at Russian higher education institutions have until February 20, 2022, to propose original concepts for educational courses on 21st century skills (digital competencies and flexible skills) and ESG (environment, social responsibility, corporate governance). The authors of the best concepts will receive professional support designing and launching their projects and will also be able to share their knowledge by uploading the course to SberEducation's educational marketplace.
