Sber and Charitable Foundation Investment to the Future are launching their traditional Kind New Year's Gift campaign ahead of New Year. The raised funds will be allocated for projects by nonprofits helping children with special development needs and orphaned children achieve sustainable results when mastering social, communications, and other skills they will need in life.

Over the past six years, Sber employees, clients and partners have given children from 53 regions of Russia more than 166,000 development and rehabilitation classes. As many as 169 nonprofits helped 14,000 children with special needs and orphaned ones to take an important step toward an independent and decent life. Russia has about one million children who have been orphaned or have special development needs - each of them needs years of help, which is crucial. It is in our power to help many, if not all of them.

Sber calls on everyone to share the responsibility for children's future with their parents and mentors, contribute to the lives of children together with the state and society. You can make a contribution to the Kind New Year's Gift until January 15, 2022. Sber will double each donated ruble.

Pyotr Polozhevets, executive director, Sberbank Charitable Foundation Investment to the Future:

"Despite the complications amid the health situation, we were able to unite a truly great number of people last year. We supported nonprofits who work with children having special needs and orphaned ones by providing them with RUB 38.8 mn, with 93 nonprofits receiving grants in 41 parts of Russia. The nonprofits organized and held over 64,000 regular classes for children."
