Sber has launched a calculator for social benefits, an all-new instrument enabling citizens to find out the size of federal and regional benefits they are entitled to, where and how they can apply for them, and the documents they will need to do that.

The calculator can be found on the SberBank website. To use the service, choose the place of registration to see the regional benefits and your category: payments all citizens are entitled to and those available to special categories (for instance, a student, an unemployed, a WWII veteran, etc.).

Users can also choose some other parameters, such as their age (55+), for the calculator to show all the benefits people in this age group are entitled to.

The additional categories encompass retirees, veterans, and customers with disabilities.

After applying the parameters, the user will see the list of benefits (one-time and monthly ones), indicative values (lower and upper limits), the documents these benefits require, and where they can be obtained. The page also allows users to apply for a MIR card if they do not have one yet.

To apply for the allowance, the client is required to collect a set of documents specified in the calculator and submit them to the authority making the payment / receiving the documents, which is also explained for each payment, indicating the details of their MIR SberCard there.

Ekaterina Gartseva, director of Social and Payroll Solutions, Sberbank:

"This is a unique service by Sber. Our nationals can now learn about all the benefits, the procedure and place where they can be applied at, and their size using a one-stop source. You no longer need to look for information across different sources and decrees for each separate benefit. Our calculator features federal as well as regional payments.

You can also apply for a card for the benefits on the same website page. MIR SberCards are free when used for social benefits and pensions, while having some other advantages."
