"The world faced unprecedented circumstances two years ago. We all had to mobilize as much as possible to adapt to these changes quickly and avoid major losses. Naturally, small and medium-sized businesses have been particularly hit by the pandemic, and for the past two years, we have regarded supporting SMEs as our key focus. The figures prove that entrepreneurs choose Sber and trust us - our share in the lending market has grown by 5 percentage points over the year. We were the key vehicle for state support measures - our portfolio under preferential programs now amounts to RUB 750 bn, we offered our clients unique digital services and free solutions to support their business. All these measures ultimately catalyzed SME development in Russia and ensured the creation of new jobs even in challenging times."
