Sber and its ecosystem companies will participate in Russian Creative Week, held August 26-29 at Gorky Park in Moscow. Event participants will present projects in the creative sector of the economy, and the forum will serve as a common space for open dialogue between all people involved in the development of the country's creative sector. Sber is the general partner of the forum.

Sber will present 'Save the Planet' at the forum, an art installation by industrial designer and engineer in the field of sustainable development Bulyash Todaeva and artist Dima Rebus. The transparent geometric figure in which dense green plants gradually transform into recycled waste is a reference to the recycling bin and illustrates the waste sorting process. Each of the four sections of the composition symbolizes recycling one of the most popular groups - paper, plastic, metal, and glass. The exhibit shows that the sustainability agenda can be integrated seamlessly into our lives as organically as personal hygiene, for instance.

The forum will feature the following speakers:

August 26

  • 11 a.m. - 12 p.m. Denis Dimitrov, acting director for data research at Sber AI, will talk about 'Digital Peter,' a project designed to recognize Peter the Great's handwriting in his manuscripts (Special Projects pavilion).
  • 12:30 - 2 p.m. Tatiana Zavyalova, senior vice president for ESG at Sberbank, will participate in a session titled 'Green City: How Artists, Designers, Creators, and Brands Promote an Environmental Culture in Metropolises.'
  • 5:30 - 6:30 p.m. Katerina Sumacheva, section head at Sber AR/VR Lab, will discuss trends in 3D virtual avatars and their application (Special Projects pavilion).
  • 6:30 - 8 p.m. Viktor Khristenko, CEO of SberSound, will participate in a session titled 'The Transformation of State Cultural Enterprises in the Digital Era.'
  • 8 - 9 p.m. Max Kozlov, head of Sber AR/VR Lab, will talk about how his team developed Virtual Production Studio to film SberConf 2020, Sber's first product conference (Special Projects pavilion).

August 27

  • 2:30 - 3:30 p.m. Mikhail Stepnov, executive director for data research at Sber AI, will participate in a discussion titled 'Technology and Design: Who is Keeping Pace with Whom?' where he will talk about how to ensure efficient collaboration between designers and engineers (Created in Moscow stand).
  • 3 - 4:30 p.m. Marina Rakova, vice president and director of the Digital Educational Platforms division at Sberbank, will moderate a panel session titled 'Technology in Creative Education.'
  • 4:30 - 6 p.m. Yuliana Slashcheva, chairman of the board at Soyuzmultfilm, will participate in discussion session titled 'Regional Cinema Models and Vectors. Experience and Discussion.'
  • 6:30 - 7:30 p.m. Irina Pridatkina, Visper platform designer (SberDevices), will make a presentation on 'Multidisciplinarity, Design with no Edits, & Virtual Characters,' in which she will share her experiences in creating animated characters (Architecture, Urbanism, Design pavilion).

August 28

  • 9 - 10 a.m. Alexey Rybakov, project head at Sber AR/VR Lab, will talk about the application of augmented reality in the city and how it can be used for navigation, tourism, and games (Special Projects pavilion).
  • 2 - 3:30 p.m. Ilya Mikhailov, design director at SberDevices, will participate in a public talk titled 'Industrial Design in a Changing World: How It Works and Who Needs It,' where he will discuss how SberDevices responds to market demands and how new product lines appear (Created in Moscow stand).
  • 4 - 4:45 p.m. Trifon Bebutov, chief content officer at Afisha, will participate in a session titled 'Why Go to Lipetsk? How Music Festivals are Transforming Territories.'
  • 4 - 5 p.m. Nikita Bogdanov, product owner for Visper (SberDevices), will hold a presentation on 'Virtual Avatars - Then and Now,' where he will discuss why virtual avatars are growing in popularity and how to create them (Architecture, Urbanism, Design pavilion).

August 29

  • 11 a.m. - 12 p.m. Yekaterina Tyuhai, UX/UI team lead at SmartMarket (SberDevices), will make a presentation titled 'Making a Product for Developers: Pitfalls and Peculiarities of UX Design,' where she will share life hacks for working on complex products (Architecture, Urbanism, Design pavilion).
