Sberbank : Charitable Foundation Investment to the Future partners with MGPU, HSE University, and SPbU to launch master’s programs for teachers

A competitive examination process has been launched to select secondary school teachers. Competition winners will receive the opportunity to complete a master's degree at Moscow City Pedagogical University, HSE University, or Saint Petersburg State University with the support of Sberbank's Charitable Foundation Investment to the Future.

School teachers who implement a personalized model of education and have successfully completed training under the Digital Platform for Personalized Education program are eligible to take part in the selection for the master's degree programs. One hundred and thirty-two successful applicants will study in the following master's degree programs: Personal Development: the Personalization and Digitalization of Education at MGPU, Pedagogy at HSE University, or Teaching for High Tech Schools at SPbU.

The programs are centered on further training and development of the human and scientific capacities of educators working at Russian schools. Program graduates will gain the most relevant knowledge about contemporary methodology and technologies in education and will be able to make their contribution to the implementation of a personalized model of education and lead school teams and projects.

We have very talented teachers in Russia. Many of them are already successfully applying a personalized model of education. We would like to support the most active and motivated educators by providing them with an opportunity to learn professional skills in master's degree programs under the guidance of distinguished researchers and practitioners at the best Russian universities. This project will open new opportunities and resources not just for the teachers themselves and their schools, but also for all participants of the educational process.
