Sberbank : Frank RG names Sber Private Banking most efficient private bank and best responsible investor in Russia

Frank RG has named Russia's best private banking organizations for the year 2020. Sber Private Banking became the winner in the main category, Frank Private Banking Award 2021, for The Most Efficient Business Model and also won an award in the category The Best Responsible Investment Program - ESG.

We have been awarded as the best bank for the fourth time, and while our ambitions helped us to emerge victorious, it's only due to our team's talent and productivity that we manage to stay on top. The 2021 award categories reflect the entire private banking market trends in Russia. Being recognized as a responsible investment leader is a great achievement for us. We started pushing this agenda several years back and believe that this trend should become the investment flagship for the entire financial industry in the next few years.

In their annual study, Frank RG analysts have looked into 14 private banking programs across 13 Russian banks. As of 2020, the number of private banking customers - people with financial assets worth over USD 1 mn - reached 41,000 in Russia. Over the year, the number of dollar millionaires increased by 7%.

Sber Private Banking is a Sber unit that services individual customers with over RUB 100 mln in assets. Guided by the open architecture principle, Sber Private Banking offers customers access to all products and services of Sberbank Group and its partners in and outside Russia.
