Addressing a meeting of the Russian Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs' Coordination Council on combating the coronavirus pandemic, Olga Golodets shared Sber's experience protecting its employees in the context of COVID-19.

The meeting participants commended Sber's work to protect the health of its employees and its contribution to counteracting the spread of the pandemic in the Russian Federation. They recommended that Sber's accumulated experience be used in the work of the RSPP member companies.

We need to continue ensuring a comprehensive approach to protecting our employees from the coronavirus pandemic. There are a number of important aspects: adhering to the rules about face masks and social distancing, disinfection and providing the necessary PPE to ensure the day-to-day operations of the companies, as well as using cutting-edge technologies, including telehealth technology, which have already proved effective during the first wave of COVID-19. People should, of course, get vaccinated. Vaccination is currently the only real way to develop herd immunity and save lives.

Olga Golodets
