Sberbank : Sber starts working with self-employed persons from the EAEU

Sber presented the popular self-employment service Svoe Delo's new features at the 24^th St. Petersburg International Economic Forum. The service allows people to register as self-employed, generate service invoices, and pay their income tax.

Available to non-residents

A pilot version of the Svoe Delo service in Sberbank Online will be available to non-residents who are citizens of Eurasian Economic Union member states: Armenia, Belarus, Kyrgyzstan, and Kazakhstan. All non-residents from these countries will be able to use the service from July onward.

Integration with individual entrepreneurs and legal entities

The pilot version of a new service that handles the crediting of payments from legal entities and sole proprietors to the accounts of self-employed persons has been launched in SberBusiness online banking for entrepreneurs. The service is of particular use for companies that work with the self-employed (gyms that hire trainers, legal entities and entrepreneurs who outsource drivers and couriers) and freelance aggregators and platforms for taxi drivers, cleaning specialists, etc. The gradual scaling of the service begins in June.

The service verifies the status of self-employed persons, credits their accounts, generates electronic invoices, sends them text messages linking to the generated invoice, and compiles and uploads the register of payments for sole proprietors or legal entities.

SberUslugi

All self-employed persons registered for the Svoe Delo service receive access to the SberUslugi platform, which facilitates their search for new clients.

As many as 440,000 self-employed Russians use the Svoe Delo service. We also understand, however, that this solution is also relevant to non-residents, which is why we are making it available to citizens of Armenia, Belarus, Kyrgyzstan, and Kazakhstan. We can see the ever-increasing demand of legal entities for services provided by the self-employed, so we created and will continue to develop convenient and pertinent services for such organizations.
