TATNEFT : Held a Public Council in Leninogorsk

The Company organized a regular Public Council session on education and health care of the region in Leninogorsk.

This is a traditional form of interaction with the population, used to enhance the effectiveness of the Company's social investments in the regions of its presence.

The Council session was attended by Rustam Mukhamadeev, Azat Yagafarov, Rinat Shafigullin, Deputy General Directors of TATNEFT, Renat Mamin, Director of the TATNEFT Charity Fund, Ryagat Khusainov, Head of the Leninogorsk region, as well as by bloggers, representatives of the media and public organizations of the region. Vladislav Vinichenko, Deputy Minister of Health of the Republic of Tatarstan, and Ramis Muzipov, Deputy Minister of Education of the Republic of Tatarstan also attended the meeting in Leninogorsk.

TATNEFT makes a significant contribution to the development of the south-eastern part of Tatarstan. The Company invested over RUB 454 million in the development of the Leninogorsk municipal district during the period of 2018 - 2021.

The issues were raised during the meeting regarding the state of education and health care in the Leninogorsk region, including the quality of education at educational institutions, a shortage of professionals in the field of medicine, a lack of places in a children's art school, etc.

A project will be worked out for re-profiling the Tatar gymnasium No. 11 in Leninogorsk into a polylingual school to solve the problems facing the district in the field of education.

The possession transfer of one of the vacated buildings of NGDU Leninogorskneft to the Leninogorsk art school will allow increasing the working area of ​​the school.

There are plans to implement the 'TATNEFT and childhood. Dialogue with the Future' program to improve the quality of the preschool education in Leninogorsk aimed at transforming the education approach in kindergartens. Original techniques allow developing children's spatial perceptions, constructive abilities, as well as social and emotional intelligence.

The Company also plans to establish another bioclass at the Shugurovo school. TATNEFT has already transformed 7 biology classrooms in the south-eastern part of the Republic in into biolaboratories, providing them with equipment for practical work and growing triploid aspen seedlings directly within the schools' premises. The trees will be purchased from educational institutions for planting in the regions of the Company's presence.

The plans provide to support a federal project of student teams, i.e. inviting medical students from all over the country to the region for practicing for the development of medical seviving in the Leninogorsk region.

The plans provide that next Public Council session will be held in Aznakaevo.

There is a lot of work ahead, but this is only part of the issues that need to be resolved in the region.
