PLAID, Inc. announced that it has received ¥500,000,000 in an equity round of funding on August 3, 2015. The transaction involved participation from new investor Fidelity Growth Partners Japan and existing investor Femto Growth Capital Fund, a fund managed by Femto Growth Capital LLP. As part of the round, David Milstein of Fidelity Growth Partners Japan joned the company's board of directors.
