Plant Health Care plc announced that Harpin aß has been successfully registered for use as a fertiliser in France by the Agence Nationale De Securitie Sanitaire (responsible for Food, Environmental and Occupational Health & Safety). This is a major milestone for the Company.France is the largest agricultural producer in the European Union (EU) and this is the first registration of Harpin aß in Europe.France is one of the few countries in the EU which has a legal framework for biostimulant products. Harpin aß, under the trademark ProAct, has approval to commercialise in France until November 2030.Harpin aß is a recombinant protein that acts as a powerful biostimulant, improving the yield and quality of crops.

The Company sells Harpin aß through specialist distributors around the world. The mutual recognition mechanism will help expand the use of Harpin aß in other European countries.
