David Meneses joins Plastic Omnium Executive Committee in the newly created position of Executive Vice President Sustainability.
In the context of today's climate and environmental challenges, this appointment bears witness to Plastic Omnium's determination to play a key role in the energy transition of the automotive industry by stepping up its sustainable development strategy. In this framework, David Meneses will primarily be responsible for establishing the Group's carbon neutrality policy and incorporating circular economy considerations into the solutions offered to OEMs.

From 2017, David Meneses was Group Vice President Sustainability at Air Liquide, where he helped structure CSR initiatives with a focus on developing the group's first climate goals.

Throughout his career at Air Liquide began in 1996, he held positions of growing responsibility in R&D, business development, sales and marketing, operational management and strategic planning in France and Japan.
He was then appointed CEO of the industrial gas business in the USA after overseeing Air Liquide's operations in Central America.

Aged 47, David Meneses graduated from ESPCI Paris engineering school (Ecole Supérieure de Physique et Chimie Industrielles) and holds a Master's degree in Process Engineering from Paris University.
