PNC Financial Services Group appointed a regional president for Northern California. Megan Schoettmer was hired to lead the charge in Northern California. She has worked in the financial services sector for 17 years and most recently was a commercial banking leader at Wells Fargo Bank, based in San Francisco, a metro where PNC has a single branch.

At PNC, Schoettmer has direct oversight for business development, building and maintaining client relationships and leading philanthropic initiatives in support of communities in Northern California. PNC said her role builds on its existing presence in the region, including corporate banking, commercial banking, retail, business credit, commercial real estate, mortgage and organizational financial wellness.
